All,
It’s been a couple of months since the Asphalt Conference and
I am still hearing great feedback everyday, it seems to still be on everyone’s
mind. I wanted to personally thank
everyone for the time and effort you put in to make it so successful. The speakers, teachers, education, and
organization were all very professional so thanks to everyone for a wonderful
job. We had just fewer than 1,000
attendees and we are quickly becoming the premier asphalt conference for Utah,
I am already looking forward to another great conference next year.
I am very excited about working with all of you as President
of UAPA this year. UAPA is continuing
to grow and bring value to our members and to the entire asphalt industry. We have multiple committees and have worked
with UDOT, APWA, and other identities to improve specifications and
processes. I would like to invite
everyone to discover what UAPA is all about and to become involved at any
level. We encourage anyone who would
like to be involved to come and see what UAPA is all about.
