Opportunities to Educate: Important Changes to the APWA Asphalt Specifications
Dear Friends of UAPA:
As many of you know, over the course of past year the Utah Asphalt Pavement Association (UAPA) worked closely with the Utah Chapter of the APWA to make some important changes to the APWA specifications. With the 2016 season upon us, it is important to understand the significance of these changes and how they affect owners, cities, counties, contractors, and our general industry moving forward. Indeed, these changes will affect mix designs, bidding, and the construction of asphalt pavements under the APWA specifications.
To help educate as many entities as possible and as a free courtesy, UAPA will come to your organization and visit with you about these changes and their impact. This invitation is open to all cities, counties, contractors, and others that have an interest in the specification changes.
